You just cannot. No matter what you do, there is a surface that developed, with its own optic characteristics, in between what was a complete crystal. The only way to repair it would be to decrystallize the crystal lattice around the cleavage plane and recrystallize it again. A high performance and perfectly tuned laser might work, but I doubt this kink of laser exists... The alternative would be to use a glue with the exact same index of refraction as the original quartz, but it will still show in some lighting conditions, since this is a different compound.
Its never going to be perfect but a special UV cured glass adhesive will give the best results.
