I had braces for a while when I was younger and the orthodontist never removed all the cement, i went back and complained but theres still some left on, esp on my back teeth. Is this normal and is it likely to cause any problems? other than being irritating.
no, but im sure if you go to the dentist they can get it off for you maybe.
I never had braces, but i'm in dental hygiene school and I find cement on my patient's teeth that has been there for years sometimes. Your dental hygienist can usually get it off for you.
I always prefer to see a little glue left behind, rather than natural tooth structure ground away while removing glue. I just smooth it as needed for my clients
Nope. i've got have been given had braces for over a month and after eating soda, now no longer some thing befell. no count if it somewhat is on your mouth, i'm useful it somewhat is not poisonous hun. i could propose now no longer eating soda as a lot, regardless of the indisputable certainty that, simply by certainty soda motives cavities easily and a hollow section with braces could in elementary words reason the orthodontist to could desire to save them on a lot a lot longer. it somewhat is greater useful to in elementary words drink water or yet yet another helthy dtink as nicely, as soda is somewhat volatile do to the severe fructose corn syrup and all the flexibility.
I still have cement on my back teeth and I've been to the dentist twice since I've had my braces removed. They scraped and scraped but I still think there's some left back there. The woman told me it would take several visits to get it all off. My orthodontist didn't really try that hard to get it all off. I don't think you have to worry about it though. Just make an appointment with your dentist and tell them you've still got some glue and they should try to scrape it all off if they can.
