No, in fact breast cancer patients often have plastic surgery to reconstruct their breasts after mastectomies. I had a reconstruction and at the same time a reduction on my good breast and there is no way I would have had that if there was any chance of it causing cancer. I know many women who have had implants as part of their reconstruction and once again if there was a chance that that would cause breast cancer they wouldn't have had it done.
