Especially with water in the pipe ,anyways whoever suggested a sharkbite fitting was on the right track but to do it right your gonna have to cut the pipe square ,maybe cut out the whole valve just to get some space to work my advice, if the break is located on a straight piece of pipe where you can wrap a piece of rubber and a couple hose clamps around it ,do that ,even if it leaks a little bit til you can afford to fix it ,at least you have water. If its a little more complex then get used to life without running water for a little bit and since times are tough consult your local day laborer,ask who knows about copper pipe repairs and go with the flow ,negotiate a price you can afford ,and go from thereby the way its 1/2 inch diameter
I don't like Santorum either, but NO ONE is saying you can't have birth control. He simply believes that sex is for procreationthat's all. If he ends up being president, he can't just make birth control illegal. That wouldn't be his job, especially not in 2012. The issue, right now, is that religious organizations do not want to be forced to cover birth control in their insurance plan since their religion does not believe in it. I don't see why anyone would disagree with this, since we have freedom of religion in the US. But for some reason, the liberal world has gone mad thinking that they are being denied' birth control (Oh please, no one is being denied anything). If someone is desperate to have birth control covered under their insurance plan, then they don't have to work for someone who won't provide it. Or, they could just prioritize. There are birth control methods that cost less than $10 a month over the course of use. SylvanD: I don't see how anyone's access to birth control is limited. I live in the Bible Belt and I can go into a clinic and pay $30 a month for a patch, without insurance. These people are simply trying to keep things as they are, not make things stricter. But frankly, in my eyes a company is not responsible for paying for birth control if they choose not to. the way I see it, the fact that this is being debated at all, is all the MORE reason to take matters into my own hands and pay for it myself, rather than depend on something that can take that away just as easily as they gave it to me. I can't deny *myself* birth control. OP: You may see it as ridiculous, but Santorum's beliefs are just as valid as yours, mine, or anyone else's. He believes that sex is for procreation and frankly, there's nothing wrong with tihnking that.
