I just bought a phoenix card reader from buydvb . but it seems a little problem. Does this card reader work with Dish network or DirecTV smart cards?

There is no legal or legitimate need to use a Dish or DirecTV card in other than he receiver they are for, so no, there is no way or need to use that reader for those providers' cards.
Steven white The smart cards are unique and assigned to individual receivers. You can't take one smart and use it in another receiver. The signal is encrypted so the reader will not work with DISH equipment. I hope this helps. Ray Calo DISH Network
