Question:

Don't you just love Speed-Bumps?

When I see a speed bump I will race at it as fast as I can and then once upon it I tap the brakes and float across it without feeling a bump. Isn't it nice to understand a little bit of physics?

Answer:

im 17, and i did it up about to the age of 13/14i nvr knew why, i always wore pullups until i got older then it just happened randomly. it just that he cant wake himself up to use the bathroom. i do now, but if i take like nighttime sudifed or any medicine that makes me sleepy. i cant wake myself up and i have an accident and its embarrassing even to tell my mom because i am 17. its perfectly normal and i wouldnt use any medicines on him because i've heard it doesnt help..when i spent the night at peoples houses, or grandparents or anyone..i told them to wake me up in the middle of the night so i can potty. and it worked.. hope everything works out
bed wetting is very common. if you have the money you should buy him the goodnites my 11 year old wear them when i can pay for them. tell him is for big kids is a lot of work to clean so manys pjs every nigh. is going to stop soon.
You shouldn't worry it's normal until the age of 10. Although make sure to do the following to giving plenty of water during the day but before he is put to rest make him go to the bathroom and kind of calculate what time he had his last glass of liquid. Once it becomes a habit (21 days) he will surely go to the bathroom before going to sleep and stop wetting the mattress.
A) Pull out hose B) Turn on water C) Aim end of hose at fire and use the water to put it out. If you have trouble with C, I would refer you back to A and B.
Its really pretty normal.if you start researching (as i did when my kids were doing it) you suddenly find out how COMMON it really is..all kids are different so he may develop later than others. It could be other factors all of which I ruled out when my kids were going thru it.allergies, trauma, stress, a physical problem or infection..if your really concerned see your doctor about it if for no other reason than to rule out something seriousmy sons were both good students, weel adjusted, etc. like yours but also had this problem.I agree with you not making a big deal of itbut if you are worried eliminate all the other causes first so both you and he have some piece of mind.
