There's a residential street in my neighborhood that's 1 mile long. The speed limit is 30mph and there are 11 speed bumps. My best friend always speeds through (over the bumps) at 25-40 mph. Are they driving too fast? How fast should you drive over a speed bump?
i loved this show. i am really going to miss it. i can not believe shane killed himself and his wife and kid. killing his wife and child was a total shock to me. i did not expect vic to become just another drone in a cubicle. he is going to hate that, it is worst than death for a man like vic. the other guy ( i forgot his name) is going to jail for something vic and shane did. i really felt sorry for him. he was just a follower, he is only guilty of keeping his mouth shut when all the bad things were going down. i loved all the other characters and i am happy that they will go on a lot better off than when vic and the gang were there. except for the captain who is dying.
From a logical standpoint, why would they? If the fire is small enough that you can use a fire extinguisher to successfully put out a fire, there isn't really a need for firefighters. If there isn't a fire extinguisher or some sort of item to put a fire out, firefighters would have to come to put it out, although they probably wouldn't like the idea of doing it. Firefighters mainly handle bigger fires, such as office fires, home fires, bonfires that happen to lose control, etc. Hope my answer helps, Kevin.
Of the three remaining members of the strike team, Shane's whole family was gone, which is somehow fitting. Remember the teenage girl he got killed 3 or 4 years ago? Ronny, the loyal sidekick and friend, is burned for his loyalty, likely facing life without the possibility of parole in a place where he will always have to look over his shoulder. Vick, the ultimate alpha dog, is relegated to a bureaucrat in a cubicle, churning out meaningless reports that no one will ever care about, other than to hang him with. He lost all of his friends, he lost his career, his family, his reason for living. At the end of the three years, he will be destitute, friendless, and headed for alcoholism, suicide or insanity. Can anyone see Vick Mackey working in IT fixing computers? He was a cop only and he wanted to hit the ground running for the Feds, but they find him absolutely reprehensible. Did you note the greeting he got when he walked into the Barn? He was viewed as the cop killer that he was. I loved Vick Mackey and I loved the Shield, but I believe that they ended it right. Not with some artsy BS like the Sopranos, but with an intellectually and morally honest finale. TV is a poorer medium now.
I'm just sad it's now over. It was a good series. I was shocked at Shane.
WOWWWWW!!!! IT WAS GREAT but (as i thought) it leaves so many questions left unanswered,,, god i'm gonna miss VIC and he boys :( not exacxtly what i expected but good it was a GREAT run!
