I have a crosman nitro venom break barrel pellet gun in .22 cal. Ive shot this gun about 700 times and ive dried fired about 5 shotsI know stupid, but im new to airguns, at least break barrel airguns, and didnt realize that it hurts the gun till now. Should I be concerned? The gun shoots fine, in fact amazing, but should i be concerned for the life expextency of this rifle? Have I damaged the seals or piston? Also my gun ( even though is is lubed properly with crosman chamber oil) it is shooting out black oil ( when put against a white blanket which i found when i dry fired once)should i open up the chamber and clean that?
In addition to all the good suggestions offered you, there is one more detail you must see to. There must be a connection from the vent to the drain within 4 feet from the drain. This is code and is also necessary for your sink to drain properly. The closer to the drain the vent is, the better. Check to see where the vent comes into the drain you're connecting to. If it's more than 4 feet away, you'll need to splice into the vent with at least a 1 PVC pipe and run it as close to the drain after the P-trap as practical. One more thing you need to ensure is that your connection to the drain line is with a wye connector, not a tee. Also make sure your wye is facing the right way so sink drainage will merge into the flow of the drain in the same direction.
If they are wired together, then they are probably meant to repeat, though that does make it hard to determine which one has triggered. Power each one up in turn, maybe one is defective. If they run on batteries, then a surge should not have any effect. PS. Yes, good idea to check for any possible trigger sources.
Well, i'm no electrician but one morning i woke up because all my downstairs smoke detectors were going off. The fire dept couldn't find anything wrong. I called an electrician and the wires for my Central AC unit had caught fire and burned out. He said it could have burned my house down. I suggest you have an electrician look at it.
