Question:

Dry Hair - Need help?

Yesterday my sister in law tried to dye my meduim brown (6) hair down to an ash blonde (9A). After seven hours and three different attempts we got it to a yellow blonde (8G). Shes coming back in a bit, to try once more to see if we can get it how we wanted it. Any advise on fixing dry and frizzy hair?

There's a few things you'll wanna do: 1. If your hair is damaged deep conditioner for your hair. The best hair care I have found is made by a company called Elon. They make alot of Dermatology recommended products. I use their whole line of hair care to keep my hair soft and silky. Their pre-wash basically fixes damage in 1-2 uses and their masque deep conditions. The shampoo and conditioner are sulfate free so they keep your hair soft. I use the shampoo and conditioner everyday and they other 2 once or twice a week or so. 2. Make sure when you straighten it your hair is completely dry. If your hair is a little wet it will singe the hair. 3. Use a hair serum (Elon makes a nice one in a pump bottle) or a cream after straightening your hair to help with any fly-aways. 4. Trim your hair every 6-8 weeks to eliminate split ends that can occur from constant heat treatment on your hair. Hope this helps! GOOD LUCK!
