We have a car lift provision in our new condominum. but how can I run a three phase car lift motor when I only have a single phase supply? thanks guys
If your motor is approx 5 HP or less a VFD (variable frequency drive) can be used. There are quite a few models from various manufacturers that will produce a three phase output from a single phase input.
