Lol I used to be just like that. I'm not so superstitious anymore, a little bit but not a lot. You can try pulling the blankets over your hean and covering your ears if your atfraid of hearing something. You could also try to fall asleep with headphones of a CD player of an iPod on. You can leave the T.V on or just keep reminding yourself that your parent are right on the same floor. I no that telling you they aren't real won't ease your fears at all. You can also let a pet sleep with you or sleep on the floor in your parents room. Hope I helped.
get a new one, the same thing happened to the one at my home, payed 100 for a guy to come out and lookat it and then I had to pay a ton to get a new one anyway, if in doubt just buy a new one.
OK. Tell us what make and model. Many electrics have a heat safety switch/fusible link mounted onthe rear hot ari duct. It is 1 long, about 1/4 thick and has two wires coming from it. Many are white in color. 1. Unplug the dryer, 2. Remove the back 3. Locate the described item. 4. Remove the wires and tempiraily connect them together. Plug inthe dryer and start it. See if you are getting HOT air out of the exhasust. If so then remove the whitle link, go to the appliance place and buy a new one. Don't forget to unplug the dryer when messing aroudn in the back.
