I am looking for a foundation and a powder that will not cause acne. Something that really works and that I can get at a drug store. I would say that I don't have very oily skin. But my skin is a combo. Ad I get acne very easily. Which I have quite a few of them right now. I'm 14. Please help!
You may have a low battery even if its new or there's a short in the wiring causing it to think otherwise or the battery may be in wrong
Buy a new one, they are cheap. Sometimes their is a sensitivity adjustment on the detector but you really don't want to tamper with it.
Smoke detectors keep you alive. Try another known good battery. Remember a low battery that makes the detector chirp might still test GOOD with a meter. Buy a new detector for a couple of bucks that has both smoke and carbon monoxide features. If you are worried your local fire dept. can usually help you.

Replace the battery. The chirp indicates low battery. If the chirp starts up agian in a few days the main power source to the detector is not enabled. Some of the newer brand detectors have an indicator light to show main power is enabled. And no don't shut off the power to the smoke detector because most likely other lights and appliances are on the same circuit. Besides you want an operating smoke detector at all times. Call an electrician or landlord and get it fixed.
