Question:

Fairytales to preform in drama?

For drama we have to preform a fairytale and it has to be all panto-ish, and everyone needs at least two parts (we have 4 people in our group, and we need 8 parts). It can't be Cinderella though, because other people are doing that. Also any tips on how to act it would be appreciated.

Answer:

I suppose some of these suggestions may depend on your definition of fairy tale. They are all indeed fictional stories, but fairy tale may mean something more specific than a children's story. Anyways, just some ideas: Alice in Wonderland Pinocchio Beauty and the Beast Hansel and Gretel The Three Little Pigs The Gingerbread Man Peter Pan The Princess and the Pea Rapunzel The Wizard of Oz Aladdin James and the Giant Peach Thumbelina The Ugly Duckling Hope this helps a bit!
Well, you are going to have to find the tale. as far as acting it is concerned, you play the story exactly as you have seen children play stories.
