Question:

Fire alarm hard wired into the electric, beeps at intervals?

I'm trying to study for my exams but going crazy because every 60 seconds or so our fire alarm beeps. It is hard wired into the electric and somehow connected to a honeywell alarm system. How can I get it to stop beeping? Our alarm system hasn't worked in 3 years and we've never had this problem. Please help! Thanks.

Answer:

Yes all kinds. I worked at an older hospital once that had to re do the whole fire alarm system to meet codes. New hoses alarms extinguishers sprinklers were OK.I got myself put in charge of it somehow. Probably do to not having any Pt's as it was off season. I got a lesson I never wanted about all things fire. Classes. Burn exercises. I hated that job.
you can get those shades that goes in your windshield that keeps the sun and heat off the dash, or see if you can turn your car around so the sun won,t get to it.
Small airplanes put reflective window covers in each window, they are some kind of padded material custom ordered and cost a bunch. I would cut out cardboard to fit near or in your windows and cover it with foil the other solution is a complete car cover (I've done that) but you have to spend the time getting it tied down because the wind will do a number on it. maybe a combination of both, depending how long you are parked for.Aren't you glad you didn't get a convertible?
Talk to management about moving her into a first floor apartment. The APA requires that those types of accommodations be made for people who are disabled. Keep in mind though that if the complex has a low vacancy rate she may need to wait until an apartment comes available.
