Question:

Ford Broco Transmission Problems.?

My ford Bronco‘s transmission is wasting oil, but there‘s no leaks and i want to know what is happening.

Answer:

I'm not sure what year yours is, but Ford (or at least Ford used to) use a vacuum modulate. When the diaphragm whent bad, engine vacuum sucks tranny fluid up. It is an easy part to change.
You don't say what year or transmission that your Bronco has, but if the transmission has a vacuum operated solenoid valve they sometimes suck transmission fluid out of the transmission when they fail.
if it has the C6 transmission the the vacuum modulator is leaking and if bad enough you will see some white smoke from exhaust the modulator is on the passenger side on the back of the transmission you will see a vacuum hose on it if you pull the hose and trans fluid comes out the modulator is bad you can replace it by taking it off and getting another one just beware it has a modulator pin in the center of it that must center in the modulator valve that sits in the case don't loose that pin might have trouble getting one when you put the new modulator in make sure the pin lines up with the valve and the modulator if not you will have shifting problems and will have to take it back off to do it again
