Could someone please tell me what the French is for wheel bearing? I‘m driving through France and the car is making funny noises, which I think might be due to the bearing, and I‘m going to need to know the French word to ask at a garage. Thanks!!!!!!!
Its the wheel bearing It screeches on normal straight road the sound will be there but sound is more louder when turning. The screech gets louder as you brake theGo check the wheel bearing out at the nearest shop if it is then you can maybe think of the best shop near you with the best priceFix it ASAP or the wheel could rip right off lol
Marco R is right: I think you are referring to a Roulement de roue. I assume you are talking about that part in your vehicle's supension between the axle and the wheel itself. Just refer to it as Roulement and specify which wheel. Roulement de la roue avant gauche/ avant droite/ arrière gauche/ arrière droite for front left wheel/ front right wheel/ rear left wheel/ rear right wheel.
