Question:

Frozen Chosin (Marine Corp 1st Division Nov 1950)?

I've heard that it got so cold there (sometimes 30 to 60 degrees below zero) that the 81mm and 60mm mortar tubes actually 'shrunk' enough that the shells would not drop in them.Anyone heard this rumor?

Answer:

I would suggest you never wear a tampon at nightThats just too long to have the same tamponJust wear pads at night and tampons during the day
Metal and aluminum are not the same thingFor the poster above who compares an aluminum can to a mortar tube as if both will react in the same wayhe is way off baseA mortar round is made to barely fit in the tubeThere isnt that much clearanceAnd yes, freezing temperatures would make the tube shrink in size causing the round to jamIf you release the round at the wrong angle it can jamIf the slightest obstacle obstructs the round in its path it will jamAnd yes, the freezing temperatures would cause bombs to not detonate.
I always wear tampons to bed, have never had any problem with leakingI know you should not leave a tampon in more than 6-8 hours, less if your flow is heavyBut since I have been on birth control my periods are very light, so I can leave tampons in longer and not leakAlso I have never experienced TSSNever heard of the diva cup is it new?
Pads are always saferTampons have a chemical in them called TSS aka Toxic Shock SyndromeYou shold also never wear a tampon more than 2-3 hours.
OkayThis should be the first thing tought to womenNEVER where tampons to bedNot only are you at risk for TSS (toxic shock synodrome) while using tampons, but if its in your body for too long, it can cause health problemsAlways use a pad at night.
