Question:

Going to Egypt this January. Any tip?

I am travelling with a tour group but any tips you can give me would be wonderful. What clothing should I take? Travellers cheques vs Egyptian currency, safety ? anything that you wished you knew before you went.

Answer:

Ok, this is what i've learnt from my hairdresser, as i've got very dry, brittle hair as well. There are two types of dryness, one where your hair is simply lacking in moisture and essential oils from the scalp aren't getting down the hair shaft, and the other is when your hair is over processed like yours sounds to be. Super dry hair needs moisture, over processed hair (although also needing some moisture) primarily needs protein and cholesterol. For me, i am using 'dark and lovely hair care's ultra cholesterol conditioning treatment'. Another thing about brittle hair is that you need to be extra gentle with it because it is vulnerable to breaking. Use a widetoothed comb with no lil bubbles at the ends that might grasp and pull at strands. Always try to have something in your hair, a touch of leave-in conditioner etc. Some people swear by running a small dab of coconut or olive oil through their hair and especially at the ends. If you see lil sticking up hairs near the top of your head then your hair is brittle because those are snapped off hairs. Try to change the position of your hairband when put into ponytails, so that the pressure of the band isn't put on the same area so many times which will weaken them and cause them to snap. It will take a while to get it starting to seem sorted, be patient, it's the price that needs to be paid for what was done to get it into that condition. Life rarely as quick fixes, but once you've learnt to care for your hair in such a way that will make it healthy again i would suggest continuing on with that so that future hair disasters don't happen, or at least aren't as bad. Ciao
Seeing as how you havent taken the rider course, and are unfamiliar with helmet brands ill take it that you are a beginner with little experience. I gotta saya 600rr is going to be a lot for a first bike, and im positive Jon would agree. So I want you to pay attention during your rider course. Every time you accidentally rev the throttle too much, or drop the clutch and maybe give it a little gas take note. because that'd be you dropping your precious 600rr. I guess that's another story though. To answer your question though. I had a CS-R1 for my first helmet and I can tell you it was loud, and there is very little padding inside the helmet. So it's not too comfortable. Youd be much better off looking at closeout helmets. Look for something that costs $150 that you can get for $70
LOL I actually know of one that this is reminiscent of but I can't really talk about it because of Federal oversight (if you know what I mean). The parties involved were friends of ours.
