Question:

Hamster wheel making noise but its plastic.?

I got my hamster Tilly yesterday she is 6 weeks old. She has a really roomy cage and it has an exercise wheel (of course) the wheel and the bit that attaches it to the cage is plastic and it makes an awful noise. I know that if you have a metal one you put vegetable oil on it but is there a blanket or something i can buy for the plastic wheels and no im not buying a new wheel. Thanks please answerAmy

Answer:

No of course not, but I have to ask. Why do you even have to ask?
No, because telekinesis isn't real. If you want to lift a car, buy a hoist.
well i know that you don't want to but there is a slient wheel from pets at home for ?7.09. i don't think much of putting stuff on the wheel as it will start making the same noise later on. if you still don't want to get a new wheel i would recommend a wheel holder from pets at home.
Well , i dont think you can by a sound proof blanket. Thier are two solutions. 1. You put up with the noise or 2. Get her a new silent wheel!
Every wheel makes noise My hamster loves to run on his wheel too, and it was squeaky. All you need to do is get a little bit of vaseline (if you have any), or olive oil, and apply a little bit to the wheel axle. The wheel should quiet down. That's what I did for my hamster. I used vaseline. Hope that helped :D
