Question:

Has anyone been to the BODIES exhibit? (Resin encased cadavers.) I hope to convince 2 friends to go with me.?

Two of my friends have gone and raved about it. The exhibit is in Branson, Mo. until early January. I am trying to convince two of my friends, science teachers, to go with me but they say that have done dissections and aren't sure if it will be worth the 28.50. Also, one friend who raved about the exhibit itself told me the audio tape/headset wasn't really worth the $5.00 - unusual because when you go to museums that offer them they are usually well worth the price and you would of thought with something as baffling as bodies a good explanation would help. Thanks for any responses. If you didn't like it do let me know. If you were surprised you enjoyed it, let me know.

Why do we put up with these inane questions? Let alone bother to answer them?
Quite possibly your back up batteries are weak and are in need of replacement. The NFPA recommend replacing your smoke detector batteries when you change your clocks for daylight savings time as an easy reminder. Dust can cause false alarms, but usually aren't intermittent such as yours. Better than vacuuming them out is a can of compressed air to blow them out. But, if your detectors are more than 10 years old, they should be replaced. Most manufactures recommend replacing them every 10 years.
Smoke detector batteries should be replaced once a year. You should replace them change them all on the same date - like your birthday - so you don't lose track. If the battery is low, most detectors will beep once occasionally to indicate the battery needs to be changed. Detectors don't last forever. They will lose their effectiveness over time and usually the instructions will suggest replacing them after a specific time. After ten years it's certainly time for new ones.
