Is my microwave OK to use? I tore off that cardboard inside cover? There was a piece of cardboard on the right side inside wall of my microwave (and every one i have ever seen) and it covers a vent that I think the cooking tube is behind.Anyway I tore that off and now I am worried that it may not be safe anymore.babasicallyhe reason i tore it off was because out of nowhere sparks came out of the microwave and it came from the cardboard bitthe cardboard was cocoatedith alALUMINIUMnd i think the that outside coating of plastic got eaten away from all theses years of use and i think it finally reached the aluminium coated side.
No, it's not ok to useI once set a yoghurt container on fire in a microwave because I left some aluminum foil on the rim and it sparked and caught fireBuy a new one, or if it's woth it, get it repaired.
M.F.AEasykeeperNuff saidJust stay away from the discount store feed and home remeiesIts funny, my neighbors keep asking what I feed my horses, because their coat is so shiney, I tell them, but they still buy disciunt feed, and wind up spending more money then I do on supplements e.t.cGo figure! Good horse feed has all you need in it!
I have found Equine Senior is a great supplementIt is soft, so older horses find it easier to chew and digestIt also has all the nutrients needed for the older horseI also feed alfalfa/grass hay mix, and a little bit more alfalfa during the real cold periods, just limit the stemmy stuff (like first cutting), is harder for horses to chew, especially if their teeth are badthat is another thing I would have his teeth checked and keep him on a strict de-worming program.
I'm not sure where you are located, but I'm in California and on my oldtimers, I've used ground alfalfa and molasses over the decades to maintain weightIf he's already at a good weight, then just give him a 1/2 bucket full (5 gallon bucket) with his evening feeding and that should do him nicelyIF he starts to drop off weight, then just let him free feed off the AM until he regains the weight then up his bucket size accordingly.
i could recommend calling your vet, and he/she would be able to be waiting that might assist you get him on the outstanding supplements, and the outstanding feeding time tableThe vet might recommend many things, so i could additionally attempt to maintain up some money in simple terms in case it quite is costlyWith older age, horses are on occasion stressful to maintain weight onin case you reside in a less warm climate, get a blanket for him to be sure he would not get the chills.
