I'm wondering what the exact process is for recycling materials.-Glass-Tin-Aluminum-Plastic-Cardboard-Boxboard-PaperMetals, I can guess are recycled by simply crushing/compacting them and melting them.I'm not sure how they would melt them though, and how do impurities separate? Through evaporation? Glass, pretty sure it's just crushed and ground and melted, but the colors must be separated I'm guessing, or brown would result.Paper.I have no idea.all I can guess is that it's just ground up and then the pulp is just used to make new paper.but why does cardboard need to be separate? And how is paper made white again?
Make sure no heat is getting in the atticIf it is venting will help a littleTry to insulate well first.
