how can I build a portable clothes rack?

Answer:

Clear is best for night. Do nor fixate on oncoming lights. If you are seeing a star pattern the problem may lie with your eyes themselves. Visit an Optometrist for your safety.
Transition lenses! They get darker when light brightens, then lighten up as the source of light dims. My buddy has a prescription set of transition glasses and uses them for riding,, loves em too. You can get them standard, but they're costly. I simply use safety glasses at night and sun glasses in the day. Nothing to it and I havent had any kind of glare problem.
From personal experience I would go the propane. I was able to smell the kerosene from the kerosene heater .
Amber lenses have never helped me in the dark. They cut out too much light without really reducing the glare. The best thing you can do is keep your clear lenses clean, free of bugs, dirt and moisture. I clean my safety glasses, goggles or face shield with Lemon Pledge wipes, then polish with a soft cloth. Nothing is perfect, but if you can look over a windscreen that deflects the direct wind blast from your face, you can go longer between cleanings.
I carry two sets of glasses. Oakley Light Amber for night. Ray-Ban Brown for day. Most important is to check how the opticals work with your helmet visor and your eyes.
