I just moved to Los Angeles county. I live on a corner house 1block away from an elementary school. In 8 months that I have lived there, i've been hit 3 times. Either by people texting , drunk drivers, ignorant drivers, but I noticed there are no speed bumps in the area. I would like to bring this up to the city but I don't know how? any help? ideas?
Technically grey, since the glass and reflective layer absorb a range of frequencies right across the visible spectrum. Silver is not a colour, colour is defined by the frequencies of light either absorbed or emitted by a material.

That depends, some are black, some are silver, some are gold, or bronze. The same colour as it had before being polished
We spotted a tanker truck doing this while on our morning walk, on a very quiet side-street, and thought it was suspicious. Since we would be walking by the fire department anyway, we stopped and told someone. They said they have nothing to do with it, but would contact the water company for us.
