Question:

How can I shut up my smoke detector?

I was using my oven, and my smoke detector went off, I pushed the little button and it finally quited down, but now, every 5 min it does a single little beep noise, I've tried disconnecting and it, and it just won't work, I don't know what to do; can anybody please help me?!

Answer:

Hey, First of all i know you are in a horrible situation at the moment but you do need to take a deep breath, in out, in, out. Okay now that you have done that i think what you and your daughter needs is counceilling. Not together but seperatley. It must be hard for you and especially your daughter and what you both are going through but if you talk to a counceillor they will and can help you find the bright side of this situation. Yes, the police are correct, they can not file an injunction as she has no physically done anything to you. What i suggest is that you just need to lock all the doors, windows and you'll be fine. You could even ask the police just to drive past occasionally just to check that everything is okay and seek some proffesional advice from a lawyer. I hope i helped and i wish you and your daughter the best of luck and i hope you both find some peace in all this )
Paint it over completely. Or else crunch up a dry rag, like a torn sheet. Dip it lightly in a shallow pan of the white but don't soak it. Then dab it over the whole ceiling to make a textured pattern. Scrunch scrunch scrunch. You can add a bit of another pastel color or a duller white to the pan, then go over it again. You can wrap a lint-free rag around a roller and holding it on with a few rubber bands. Good luck.
sorry no easy fix this time, paint the whole ceiling using the same paint preferably ceiling white paint. Old paint and new paint wont match, doesn't matter how expensive it is.
Take a 5 in one.. (Painters tool and score the ceiling line..where the wall meets the ceiling. Press with light force so u make a small indentationthe paint will spill into the small score u made and will never touch the ceiling. That's how u get a perfect cut line. Far as the paint on your ceiling..Hope u still have some white ceiling paint left so u can touch it up!!
It would not be safe. My biggest problem with winter riding is narrow streets and/or ice. With no shoulder and icy roads there is no where to go if a car is coming at you. It is a recipe for serious injury or worse. The cold temperature by itself can be dealt with by proper clothing. I do ride in the winter but only if the roads are pretty clear.
