Hi, I found a website that lets you pick an image on your computer or online and lets you turn it into a cellphone wallpaper, but after receiving a hefty bill from my cellphone carrier in the past for going online with my phone to shop for wallpapers, I wanted to use a data cable to transfer the image that way, but the thing is, I don't know much about computers and I have no idea how to do it. Anyone know how? I have a data cable but when I plugged it into my phone and my computer it said I needed a cd and I don't have a cd from my phone. I have the motorola ic402 hybrid if that makes a difference. If you know how I can do this I'd really appreciate any help you can give me. Thanks. :)
You're on the right track, because even if you find a website that'll give you free wallpaper you'll still have to pay to read the message they send you when they deliver it (which you've already discovered). The usb cable option is a great way to go, but you'll need software to recognize your phone and handle the transfer. I highly recommend a program called DataPilot, that works with all major phone types including Motorola. DataPilot will let you copy ringtones, photos, videos, etc for free (well, aside from the cost of DataPilot, and there are coupon codes at the link below to help with that).
