Question:

How did they lift heavy cathedral bells into position ?

I've tried looking online and haven't found an answer yetIt's been driving me nuts! TIA

Answer:

They used an man powered Crane hoist.a giant wheel like we have for hamsters that one of more men could climb inside and walk/clamber turning the axle and winding ropes that hauled the stones that made the tower.and then the bells that sit near the topand then a spire on top of that.amazingIn there time, people would come for miles just to look and wonder at them.
