Question:

How Do A Wheel And Axle Work In A Car?

What I mean is what makes it move when you push down on your gass petel?

Answer:

When you changed the pads, did you change, (or properly re-install), those little spring clips?
Gears on a shaft. The simple way to look at it is like this. The engine is connected to a thing with a bunch of gears inside. This is called a transmission. A toob then comes or the transmission and to the axle. Inside this axle there are more gears. One connects to a shaft inide the axle that the wheel is bolted to. So as the engine turns from explosions in the cylinders it turns the transmission. The transmission in turn spins the shaft witch spins the gears in the axle whitch spin the shift in the axle. I'm using a very outdated example but on trucks it still works like this.
you might have to take a screwdriver and pry them open. it will take some muscle, so dont get discouraged
