probably they use a bottle. but i'm wondering how they s h i t while working?
They are Union workers, so they never work more than 10 minutes a day, so it really is no problem.

They relieve themselves the same way that truck drivers do. That's why you see so many plastic milk bottles along side the high ways. Gotta keep rolling!!
the operator turns the engine off and puts the crane put it into safety mode so it doesnt hurt near by workers and open the door of the crane but before he does anything els he first turns on the alarm on so no one steals the 5 ton crane when the operators in the bathroom taking a crap/piss doing whatever...
