We christians should be seeing that the turmoils in the world will get worseDo we have emergency plans and shelters for disasters? Do we have emergency savings and/or money for financial storms and hurricanes? Have we prepared our family members for these trials and potential others? Related to all this preparation, faith becomes an even more important ingredientWhen each of us does proper preparation for these contingencies, it gives our faith in ourselves for these situations some strengthThat's right, preparation leads to some form of spiritual strengthDon't each of us feel relief when we actually get through a rough time with minimal pain and problem, because we actually prepared for it? Studying for a final exam, that's a prep for a rough trial, right? Isn't it wonderful when you encounter a question on a final exam that you prepared for the night before with a great answer? Here in The Netherlands there are recycling bins for glass, paper, plastic, and clothing but not aluminiumI thought this strange at first until I learned that in the waste-to-electricity plants there are coils that put a charge on the aluminium as it goes down a belt and a magnet pulls it out of the waste stream before it goes to the furnaceSo we just throw it away and the power plant gets the aluminium to sell as secondary income.
