how do i build a guitar pick-up?

i want to build a guitar pick-up for a guitar i am working on , but i don‘t know how?

Unless you are in to electronics forget it. And if you are in to electronics check the magazines and books at the library. You need to know about magnets and coils. plus soldering.

try applying some heat to the fitting being careful not to loosen any surrounding joints.This will cause the coper to expand and it should come right off with a little force on the wrench

Find a bar magnet and wrap copper wire around it quite a few times. Then run the copper wire to your cable plug and run the cable to the amp.
