There are three wires, black and white which are connected inside the ceiling, the other is loose, and is supposed to be. The apartment complex set these up 3 metres from the stove and it goes off all the damn time. I want to know how to disconnect it. I understand that this is not recommended. I understand that it is important to have a smoke detector. I just want safe, electrical advice. If it is not disconnected, I think I will go insane.
There is allot involved to do room acoustics properly and get good sound, and takes someone years of experience to do it right. Its not simply putting up high absorption material to absorb reflections within a room, there much more to it. Good Acoustics, is a room that allows for a natural balance of sounds with the least amount of coloration's. Room dimensions, speaker placement, right amount and quality of absorption and reflective materials. Most people think you want a highly damped room, this is not true. The issue with many absorption materials, is they are not linear, meaning they will absorb at certain frequency's and reflect at others, which creates comb-filting, peaks and valleys in the frequency responce. A good room will have the right balance of absorption and reflective materials to give the right balance of sound. A room that is to reflective, will make it difficult to hear sounds clearly, and a room that is overly damped will sound dead or lifeless, lack dynamics, and worse have large peaks or valleys in the frequency responce. Boomy bass etc. Most people would be surprised that you dont have to have or use expensive acoustic materials to get good sound, furniture, lighter drapes, area rugs etc can be used to get a nice sounding room. flow over the fee bump at an perspective if achieveable. as an instance, using as much as the fee bump on the main appropriate area of the line? perspective your automobile to the left somewhat, or somewhat extra till you end bottoming out!
It means it has good sound properties. This usually means that there is minimal echoing throughout the room, etc. It can also mean it has good speakers though. To get good acoustics, the room should be shaped I am a way such that sound reaches you in its most natural state with minimal reverb/echo. Some type of foam helps absorb noise, vibration, and excess echoing.
