I don't have any tape or lint rollers.
No! What you need is a respirator rated for chemical fumes. These should be fit to each person individually and the proper cartridges installed in the mask. As a different option the soldering station could use a suction type fan to a wet filter to stop the fumes from getting near you.
A dust mask will do nothing when soldering. The particulates in the fumes are way too small to be stopped by a simple dust mask. If you're really that concerned, use a respirator.
System File Checker (sfc)Scans and verifies the versions of all protected system files after you restart your computer. It may need to replace some system files from the cd.
Al the answers are dead right!! The most annoying thing is the fumes coming off the soldering iron flux and getting up your nose causing your nose to irritate the fumes getting in your eyes. When soldering, try having the product to one side of you, so that your not standing directly above the work area breathing in the flux fumes. Always wear protective safety glasses gloves when soldering especially when soldering in damp area's, co's hot molten solder explodes when it comes into contact with water, sending many tiny particles everywhere! Take it from me as an an apprentice I ended up with many pieces of solder in my eyes from that day I have always emphasised to others to wear safety glasses when soldering! Over the years I have learnt to solder most metals with great success truly enjoy soldering it's one of my favorite forms of welding two items together! Cheers!
Dust masks only block airborne particulate matter, not gaseous fumes. You would require a respirator mask with the appropriate filter. A fan in a well ventilated space is far more convenient.
