I know its by connecting to a metal part of the car but how do u do that? By screwing it or attaching it with some type of adhesive?

I WOULD CUT OFF THE SPADE CONNECTOR AND REPLACE IT WITH A ROUND TERMINAL CONNECTOR,MAKE SURE BOTH CONTACT SURFACES ARE CLEAN AND FREE OF PAINT DRILL A HOLE AND USE A METAL SCREW TO SECURE THE CONNECTION. U CAN CHECK YOUR GROUND BUY CONNECTING A 12 VOLT TEST LAMP TO THE BATT POSITIVE AND PROBING THE WIRE ,THIS METHOD WILL INSURE THAT YOU HAVE A GOOD GROUND. TAKE SOME SILICON SEALER OR CAULK AND COAT YOUR TERMINAL TO PREVENT CORROSION AND KEEP IT SECURED, HOT MELT GLUE WORKS WELL OR YOU CAN USE A DAB OF PAINT.
here let me make it simple for you cut off the spade connector and hook the ground wire directly up to a screw in your car by connecting to a metal part of the car . you really don't need any connector hook it up bare. spook
Cut the spade connector off and install an eyelet connector and simply sheet metal screw it to a known good ground.
