Paint the top of your roof white and go commando when you are inside
I would not put pallets on the roof by staking them 2 things can happen either moisture buildup under them will prematurely rot the roof and excess weight is no good either when they get wet the wieght may put cracks in your ceiling. Painting the roof white with rubberized roof coating will help.You could install exhaust fan at one end of the house to draw excessive heat out of the house.
Lines are caused by two things. The first, check that there are no marks on the photo drum. If there is you will need to replace it. The second is the fuser ( be careful it will be hot) at the back see if there is a build up of toner on it (round black marks) if you are lucky you can clean this but it will happen again so it is better to replace it.
impossible unless you want to tear off the roof and insulate between the ceiling joists and roof decking.OR, there may be a foam product you could spray in between the decking and drywall. other things you can do are insulate all doors and windows, insultae home as best as possible, add high efficency hvac equipment.
