how do I replace the windshield wiper motor in my 1998 Lincoln town Car?
You have to open the hood and up near the back of the engine compartment you will see a long thin plastic cover going all the way across. Be careful when you remove it so you dont break the clips holding it in place. Remove that cover, disconnect any wire connections that you see attached to it, unbolt it from the fire wall and pull it out.
remove wiper arms, remove cover from wiper box, then look good, there are screws, remove them, unplug washer hose near fender, lift box, disconnect wiper motor, remove box, replace motor
just take it to pep boys or auto zone and when you buy windshield wipers the installation is free.
