I would like to make paneerHow long would it be good if i put it in the fridge? Or can i put it in the freezer and if so for how long?
Go get yourself a TT-33 or a CZ 52 and have some real fun with that round.
They are excellent pistol rounds! I don't think it is lawful to hunt deer with,as it doesn't meet the requirements for minimum pistol caliberYour state may be differentThe law looks at the round itself, not what it is being fired fromI would consider Bob Sacamano's suggestion as both of these pistols are quite decent and pretty much available! I have a TT54 which is the red Chinese version of the Tokarev:)
To be honest, I see little point in doing this as surplus 7.62x54R is currently about $0.20 per round7.62x25 ammo may be dirt cheap, but you're not saving enough to botherI am not aware of any hollowpoint rounds for 7.62x25, and if they're out there, they are surely more expensive than 7.62x54.
I got one of those because I have a bunch of Mosins and I got left with a case of 7.62x25 after a guy traded for my Romanian Tok (and I didn't miss it at all)For 50 yard target-plinking it's great, however I'd be very concerned at deer huntingYou just don't have the weight to punch through to deer vitals with a degree of assuranceCoyotes, well I think you are still underpowered, but I don't care too much about varmints.
I normally wrap the Paneer in Paper towels and then re-wrap it in Aluminum foilThis keep for one week in the refrigeratorI have also frozen it for 3 monthsIf you freezemake sure you defrost it in the refrigerator foe 4 hoursThe paper towel absorbs part of the moisture and actually look like iceIf you are going to use for curry only, you can always deep fry Paneer cubes in oilThese cubes can be frozen in plastic zip-lock bags.
