Question:

How do I transfer data from one xbox 360 hard drive to another without using a data transfer cable?

Hi,Recently I got Forza 3 and played it on my friends hard drive. We got really far and want to transferr the memory from his hard drive to mine. I do have a xbox 360 memory card, is it possible to use that. And say i don't find that memory card, what do i do?

Answer:

you need the card you go to the hard drive option in the menu them you go to forza and find the data then hit the transfer or copy button forgot which one
If you can find the memory card then you can use that to copy the save and move it to your 360. If you can't find it then you're screwed.
your download history saves to your xbox live account. once you get a new hard drive, go to your download history and re-download everything for free
Well if you find your memory card, just plug in your memory card to his 360, then load the save file from his hard drive then save it again to your memory card. Other wise there is no other way :( That I know of at least unless you have a modded 360 that can use flash drives :P
A transfer cable I believe takes all of the data so you don't want that. Yes a memory card works, if you can't find it I don't think there is any other way to do it, unless of course you buy another.
