that bang was probably you hitting your under carriage, in a car especially a honda you gotta be very careful to not bust your oil pan when going over those speed bumps, try going over them one wheel at a time, plus that plastic cover is not meant to cover your shocks its there to protect electrical components like your starter from getting wet, if it drives normal dont worry about it just go ahead and rip out that plastic cover

Right, you'd just make a mess on your face shield. It's not going to blow up or anything because you're not increasing the pressure inside your spacesuit by much. Now if you had a canister of compressed air inside your suit and you let all of that compressed air out into your suit it may eventually rupture the suit, but I would guess not before the pressure would cause damage to your body, like popping your ears.
