Ive written a book for my creative writing class and i want to put it together like a real book is there anyway i can do that?
Get a thick piece of cardboard, and cut it to the shape you want your cover (all the way around and about a quarter of an inch overhang out from the pages). Then, tape the edges with duct tape or clear tape, just tape that will hold. Staple black fabric on the inside. Get a piece of fabric that you like the color/look of, and cut it to the shape of your cardboard cover with about an inch to half an inch over hang. Using a very thin, bendable sheet of metal (copper maybe), cut out the title. Then glue it very carefully to the front of your fabric cover. Then, use inch wide black tape (I think it's called electric tape) to neatly tape on the fabric to the inside edges of the cover. Then get a piece of plastic and cut it for the spine of the book. Glue it in. Then get the pages and, this will take some time and glue, use a lot of glue to bind it to the plastic. When it dries, wallah!, you've got your book. If you can't or don't want to get a thin metal, just write on it with a sharpie. If you want a design on the cover, you can iron it onto the fabric. I hope I helped! :) -V ;)
My seventh grade teacher had a small machine that bounded books. Thats the only way I would know how to do it. Don't know whats it's called either.
