This remote access is for people who want to access their at-home pc from work or if you have a problem with your pc, you call tech support and they need access to your pc from another pc. Spyware or virus can be introduced to your pc if you let this services running. I would suggest you disable it completely and turn it on only a need to basis. Go start,control panel,performance maintenance,system and select the Remote Tab. On this screen you must remove the 2 checkmark from the 2 boxes that said Allow Remote Assistance and Allow user to connect remotely. Click OK and you're done.
Yes, it is possible. Better turn off the remote system access,. right click on my computer and find remote setting and uncheck the box.
