Question:

how do you calculate cement into yards?

if i have a footing 22ft long by 18inches deep by 10inches wide how many yards do i need

Answer:

27 1/2 divided by 1760. Abhijit.
LengthxWidthxHeight is the formula 26x22x.33(4/12)=188.76 cu ft/27(27 cu ft per yard)=6.99 cu yards for the slab and your footings are 22x1.5(18/12)x.833(10/12)=27.489 cu ft/27=1.01 yards and you have 2 footings so 1.01x2=2.04 yards so in total 6.99+2.04=9.03 yards altogether ok.
Your cement company (provider) can help a great deal here. There are different consistencies of concrete, talk to the them and follow their recommendations.
22' X 1.5' X .83' = 27.39' divided by 27' equals one cubic yard. (22'x18x10)
