i am 28 years old and have thick curly poofy hair almost to my buttget a good haircut get the dead stuff off keep it that waychemicals and dye only make it worsedon't get it thinned!!! that is why it is soooo poofy thinning is great for thick hair but not really for curly hairsome times it works but not oftenonce you do that you want to get a good leave in conditioner and split end protectori use garnier and herbal essencesthey are cheap and work really goodstart at the ends when you put it inafter you get it all in (you don't really need to put it all the way to the scalp) take inch sections and twist itthis will define your curls and keep the frizz downalso when you are in the shower, comb your hair with the conditioner in itgive the conditioner time to work too! when you rinse do it with water as cold as you can stand it this seals the hair shaft and not only seals in a little moisture it will make it shiny and less frizzyif you like the curls don't get it straightenedand for gods sake quit using the straightener when your hair is wet even if it is for wet hairit still removes moisture that you hair needscurly hair is the driest that's why it is curlyif you must dye it only do it once a yearand condition the crap out of it.

G What has happened is not that the angora yarn grew, no hair grows after it is cut, but the yarn itself did what is known to fiber artists like knitters as bloomingWhen a yarn made from angora or mohair is spun the nature of the fiber (hair) itself is that it is very slippery, so it is spun very tightlyWhen it is knit up the twist in the yarn relaxes a bit and the fuzziness of the angora halos or spreads out which may make it appear to grow, but actually it is just the yarn getting a bit looserYes, her Santa's beard was probably angora if it was very soft and not pickyIf it felt somewhat picky it was possibly kid mohair.
