How do you drive manual over speed bumps?

i need help driving over speed bumps while driving stick shift. i just tend to go slow in 2nd gear and slow down just by stepping on the brakes, and the car sounds like its going to shut down or shutters a lot. what do i do to with my clutch when i go over speed bumps? do i press it or what? im new to driving, so any advice will help. it would also help if you can give detailed steps as in when to step in the clutch, etc. thanks!

There are Carbon Monoxide detectors available. You can get them from Lowe's or Home Depot. They are about the same price as a smoke detector.
