Question:

How do you focus Universal energy in a Quartz crystal?

I am already pretty good at it, but when i'm meditating, it won't release energy.Help!

Answer:

Quartz doesn't contain gold, and it doesn't form in association with gold. Pyrite is iron sulfide, which seems unlikely to occur with quartz like that. It's more than likely just little flaky inclusions of a shiny mica. I would recommend just polishing the quartz up really nicely and leaving it as it is as pretty, un-screwed-with display piece.
there is no gold in quartz. it may be a different mineral (like pyrite) but it cannot be quartz
the website says that it is possible to find gold still encased or attached to quartz, not that every piece of quartz will contain some gold. in reality, it is nearly the opposite: most quartz will NOT contain gold. it's too bad, but a least quartz is pretty on its own :)
Most gold is associated with quartz, but quartz rarely contains gold. If it is really is gold and it is coarse enough to see, crush and grind the rock up so that most of the material passes through a 0.5 mm mesh (fine sand size). Then get a gold pan and try panning the material. Gold is about 6-7 times heavier than quartz, so you should be able to wash away the quartz and leave the gold in the pan. You could also try heavy media separation techniques, but that requires expensive chemicals and equipment. If you've got more than a few rocks, you may want to consider a sluicebox or some other type of equipment with a higher throughput capacity than a pan. Good luck!
