Hardly. There are no legal restrictions on moving about from state to state. You do have tax issues since lots of taxes in the U.S. are raised by the states. You will need to get a drivers license. You will have to register your car when you move. You will have to pay income tax when you get a job in the new state. You will have to pay property and related taxes if you buy a residence. Of course you will need a fishing license if you want to fish. In other words from a tax standpoint each state is like a different country. They have their own laws and regulations but they are pretty much alike. I live in West Virginia in the summer and South Carolina in the winter; the laws are basically the same. Don't worry about violating some obscure law. However in some states you can't text while you drive, in some you can't even use a cell phone while driving. In a few you can't use radar detectors in your car. The heat will nail you for that.
