Thats a good one.there is a cheap and as we say Down and dirty trick to get some good sound recordings in a poor room we use the following.Moving Blankets they absorb sound really good.many even use Egg Cartons YES thats right in the studio one guy used the fiber ones not the plastic egg cartons and it worked yet it take him a little whole to get them.they absorb sound and they deflect them as well and they do it very good.blankets even work as well Do hope that helps.
