Our carpet in our apartment is starting to fray and my 8mo old likes to pick at the strings and pull them up and I'm afraid she's going to destroy it so I want to buy a rug for that area. We're on a really tight budget so I want to buy a used one, but I don't trust that it will be clean knowing it'll probably end up in her mouth eventually. How would you wash one and would it be cost effective vs just buying new?
try asda/walmart for cheap home stuff, think you can also borrow a carpet cleaner from a lot of big supermarkets use hg carpet cleaner its safe to use just spray it on and wipe off if u do use cans of carpet cleaner Just dont let the baby in the room for a while but they dry real quick and u can open a window to ventilate the room,i have used them no problems just follow the advice on the can
fraying carpet should be replaced. You should contact ur landlord to fix it. You shouldn't have to pay a dime That is why people rent.Throw in that u r afraid the baby will get the fibers in his.her mouth and that would not be good.A light may go off in the landlords head....lawsuit? fraying carpet is not acceptable in an apartment
Why not buy a new remnant? Carpet cleaning foam is perfectly safe for children as long as you do not allow them to drink it.
I okorder and get a 10 off coupon....i just rented one and did my carpets...only paid 10 for the machine...also you can get carpet products that are safe for children and animals...
