Question:

How does a locked engine sound?

I accidently starved my old Mondeo of engine oil, it started doing high revs, overheating and came to a stop. Would not start. Having had stuck on a motorway at night drained the battery on hazard-lights. Eventually towed it home. Refilled the oil. Tried to jump-start it, it makes funny rattling noises (as if something is crackling or sparking) but the engine would not start. Is this a normal sound when the battery is flat or is this the sound of a locked engine? Or could it just be the immobiliser preventing the start-up due to the flat battery? Would appreciate any ideas before I scrap the much-loved old banger!

Answer:

Usually polyester can be washedbut find the washing instructions sewn into the pants! Not all polys can be washed..some lose their sizing and come out super wrinkled and never retain their crispness even after ironing. If it says OK to wash, use cold water and gentle cycle to minimize the thrashing against the washer tub that destroys fabric over time.
If you open up the white block, you'll find 4 wires connected and two not connected. Note which ones connect across the reed switch and the remaining two will be connected together. Then cut back to near the wall one wire at a time (you don't want to short the 12v supply). The Tamper alarm will sound at the panel - type in your code and ignore beeping until you complete the following: Strip the 4 wire ends. Leave the unused pair unstripped Connect the two that went across the reed switch. Connect the two that were connected together at the block. Wrap these two connections separately with insulation tape. Reset the alarm panel, No electric shock danger, no danger of fuse blowing.
Well when light hits a surface, depending on the surfaces material properties it will either scatter (diffuse) or reflect in a very broad sense. so what you see in the mirror is light that your skin has not absorbed and they will be colored based on the lights wavelength and the surface that it either diffuses upon or reflects off of so when no light becomes absorbed you get a bright white light that blinds youever notice a black car gets really hotIt absorbs more light than white paint, thus making it blackso seeing yourself in a mirror is just seeing light that has bounced off of your body in every direction..when you turn to the right you are seeing tons of different light rays..
