Where did the 200 years and 'Einstein never believed in black holes' stuff come from? Black holes are more recent than Einstein. Even if I didn't know anything about black holes, that would make me think this guy didn't know what he was talking about. Another thing that strikes me is the journal this was published in. If he could back up his arguments, this could easily have made it into Nature, or at LEAST the Astrophysical Journal or the Physical Review Letters. He picked a pretty obscure journal. I don't even know if it's peer-reviewed. Frankly, I'm skeptical. I haven't read the paper, but I'm sure if it's worth anything I'll be hearing about it soon enough. And so far, not yet. A new theory that explains so much just screams 'crackpot' until proven otherwise.
